I was surprised to see such a low rating (3.6 on Google) for Ristorante Delle Palme in San Remo, because my experience was excellent. The restaurant has a perfect location right on the seafront, with a pleasant and attentive staff that makes you feel welcome.
I especially enjoyed their appetizer of grilled peppers with anchovies – simple but absolutely delicious. The main course, octopus, was outstanding: soft, juicy, and full of flavor. Their signature dish, pasta delle penne, is also worth trying. It comes with a fun, almost theatrical presentation (see my video!) and is covered in a rich tomato sauce. Just be sure you’re well covered, because this tasty dish can get messy!

I've been going here for 15 years, out of so many places around the world, this place has the best food I have ever had! The staff is very good and everyone treats you like family!! I definitely recommend.
There are big portions for very affordable price, my lunch portion was so big, that it could even be enough for 4 people, and costs only 12 euros, food is very tasty, and there is a nice view of port;)
Excellent restaurant water front. Awesome quality a must in San Remo. Family of five with beer about 110 euros. Great place would definitely come back.
A family favourite. My family has been coming here for 20 years. They have the greatest food in the entire WORLD. Whenever I'm not there, I'm thinking of their Frutti di Mare house spaghetti!
